According to the Family Caregiver Alliance, there are 43.5 million unpaid caregivers in the U.S. providing support for activities of daily living and/or medical tasks. This daily work is often unseen and undiscussed in our communities. The Circle of Care is a space where the ups and downs of caregiving are accepted, discussed, and valued. In a safe and supportive environment, caregivers will learn from one another’s stories and benefit from a community of peers. Gatherings will include ample time for discussion and sharing as well as coaching and practice in simple and replicable methods of self-care.
Andrea Parker and Lisa Steele-Maley will share facilitation. Andrea Parker is a soul led life coach and is the founder of The Rejuvenation Grange where she helps people experiencing a crossroad in their life do so with self-love and compassion. Lisa Steele-Maley is a facilitator, Interfaith Chaplain and the author of Without A Map: A Caregiver’s Journey through the Wilderness of Heart and Mind.
There is no registration required and no fee to participate in the Circle of Care. Please contact me for Zoom meeting access.
